Sunday School
SCBC offers Sunday school classes for all ages. We have qualified teachers in each class who faithfully teach the Word of God in a practical way for each age group and level of understanding. Our Sunday school starts at 10:00 a.m. Be sure to ask one of the Deacons in the lobby for classroom locations.
We have an active youth group that meets for Sunday school every Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m. They also meet each Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m. for Bible study and fellowship. They also plan various activities through-out the year including:Youth camp, WBYC(World Baptist Youth Conference), Lock-ins and many other activities which help to promote fellowship and spiritual growth.
Children's church
Each week we have Children's church for ages 3-12 during the morning service Lead by: Bro. Don
Dominick and his wife Angela. They meet together to sing songs, learn Bible stories, learn Bible verses, have a puppet show and much more.
Community Outreach
SCBC believes strongly in reaching out into the community with the gospel of Jesus Christ. We successfully carry this out in various ways. We have visitation twice a week, where we visit with our visitors, new comers in the area and residents in our surrounding community. We have a yearly Fall Festival, which provides a safe, family-friendly alternative to Halloween and a wonderful opportunity to present the gospel.
We also have a yearly Round-up Sunday, where we dress up in our western attire, have special singing and a chili and brisket cook off. We have a Thanksgiving and Christmas Food drive and collect personal items for our troops overseas.
We have an exciting Bible club for grades K - 6th that meets every Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m. for music, Bible study, games,puppet shows, activtives and crafts. They also plan many fun activtives and out reach ministries through out the year for your children.
College and career
We have a growing college and career group for ages 18 and up. They currently meet every Sunday morning from 10 A.M -11 A.M. for fellowship and Bible study. They also plan various activities throughout the year. The group is lead by Gene Renteria and currently has many students from Arlington Baptist College.
We are constantly coming up with new and creative ways to reach out into our community. Come be a part of what we are doing in Arlington.
Nursery
We provide a safe and loving enviorment for children up to age two.
We have wonderful ladies who will take great care of you little one, while you enjoy the services. The nursery is clean and well stocked with cribs, play-pins, walkers, dypers, wipes, first aid kit, changing tables and lots of toys.
