  First time visitors at SCBC
First time visitors are always welcome at South Center Baptist Church. In the morning worship service we like to recognize our first time visitors, by giving them a visitor's card to fill out and a pen they get to keep as a souvenir. They then place their card into the offering plate during the offering collection.

We also personally greet each visitor during our special time of shaking hands. If you're a perspective visitor, come expecting a warm welcome at SCBC.

What to expect at SCBC.
  Sunday Morning at SCBC.
Each Sunday we offer Sunday School classes for all ages(basically age appropriate individual Bible Study groups) and corporate morning worship. Our Sunday School time is generally 45 minutes long. There is a 15 minute break between Sunday School and our main morning worship service. Our worshipstyle is traditional Baptist, with a perfect blend of hymns and choruses played by piano and organ. The main worship time consist of: singing, prayer, solo-music, offering, and reading/preaching from the word of God.

When you arrive at Church, you well be greeted by a church member who will give you a bulletin. You then have the option of bringing your 0-2 year old by the nursery for Sunday School and morning worship or keeping them with the family. If you have older children and or teenagers, they will meet with their group as well. Adults meet in the sanctuary for the Pastor's Bible Study class.  After Sunday School is dismissed, there is short break. After the break, children ages 3-12 have the option to either worship with the family or with other children in Children's Church.

  Sunday Evening at SCBC.
Sunday evening is for corporate worship as a family. This worship time consist of: singing, prayer, solo-music, offering, and reading/preaching from the word of God. There is no Children's Church during this service.

Midweek Bible Study(Wednesday night) at SCBC.
Each Wednesday night we meet in individual groups for fellowship, friendship and Bible Study. Adults meet in the sanctuary, while ages 3-12 meet for Kid's Prayer Club and ages 12-18 meet for Vital Youth. This generally last for one hour, but people may stay and fellowship longer if they like.

  Dress code at SCBC.
Much of our church family dress in business casual or in nice jeans. However, some choose to wear suits, and some choose to be a little more casual.  We ask that everyone dress appropriately. We are meeting in a family-friendly environment to worship a Holy God.

  Accommodations for the Disabled SCBC.
We provide handicapped parking by the front of the building and a small ramp to get into the building. Our restrooms in the front lobby are also handicapped accessible and are equipped with handrails. If you require other accommodations, please do not hesitate to ask.
